Screening at the Metro Cinema, February 2019

In 2018, Clare volunteered at Beakerhead to create a series of short films about the artists and scientists presenting at the festival that year.  Clare had the great honour of interviewing Professor Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell, a physicist who discovered pulsars as part of her PhD studies.  On a cold night in February 2019, the resultant short film, “Beakerhead People of Science: Professor Dame Jocyeln Bell Burnell” was screened at the local independent cinema The Metro as the opening short prior to “The Woman Who Loves Giraffes”.
